| TULIP Project Conference at Gh. Asachi Technical University of Iasi, Romania
This open conference, with Keynote Speakers, will present the key network output, the TULIP resource kit. Trade Union and University representatives from outside the network and also learners (i.e. TU members) are invited to attend. The aim of the conference will be to present and reflect upon achievement and to make recommendations for the future direction and valorisation of the Network. If you are interested in making a contribution to the Conference and subsequent Proceedings, please contact the Project Co-ordinator at info@tulipnetwork.org.uk Conference Programme How to Register Background information on the conference location and how to get there Hotels The conference period of 1/3 of July is a very busy period in Iasi due to many events including university entrance examinations. If you decide to book with this hotel please quote the following in your email reservation: TULIP Conference organised by the Technical University Gheorghe Asachi of Iasi. 2. Traian Hotel **** Optional Social Programme If you are interested, please contact Professor Gabriela Atanasiu directly as soon as possible on gmatanasiu@yahoo.com and pre-book a place on this trip. The cost for this social event will have to be paid in cash at the registration desk of the conference ON ARRIVAL. Please do not pay in advance to TULIP. If there are sufficient people who wish to visit the North/ Eastern Monasteries of Romania, located within a distance of 150 km from Iasi, Gabriela’s team could arrange a one day trip on Saturday 4th July. The trip will leave Iasi at 9.00 and return at 18.15. The cost will be between 35 - 40 Euros per person including the cost of a guide, transportation and lunch. BUT there has to be a minimum number of 8 people (or multiples of 8 people) in order to arrange this visit. You MUST pre-book this visit with Gabriela by end of March 2009.
